Tim Bold brings over 35 years of IT experience to the table. From the early days of Windows v1 to the latest advancements in technology, Tim’s journey in IT has been both extensive and innovative. Driven by a passion for creating a client-focused, technically superior IT service, Tim founded MICT to offer a fresh approach to IT solutions.

Tim’s role goes beyond the boardroom; he loves being hands-on, visiting clients, and crafting bespoke solutions tailored to their specific needs. His mission is to bridge the gap between complex technology and user-friendly solutions, ensuring that clients receive the best value for their investments. Outside of MICT, Tim’s often found renovating his house with an impressive collection of DeWalt tools. His obsession with these tools is strong!

Amanda Martins is MICT’s Business Manager, focusing on procuring software and hardware solutions for clients across the North West. With a passion for supporting charities, Amanda liaises with these organisations to help them access business-level IT solutions within their often leaner budgets. In addition to her client-facing responsibilities, Amanda leads MICT’s ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives, ensuring that the company adheres to high standards of sustainability and ethical practices. Having been with MICT since its inception, Amanda is dedicated to providing exceptional service and support to all clients, big or small. Outside of work, Amanda is a travel enthusiast. She loves travelling, reading about travelling, daydreaming about travelling, and even pretend booking holidays.

Mark serves as the first point of contact for clients and overseeing MICT’s social media platforms. Highly customer-focused, Mark ensures that calls are answered and directed to the appropriate department within three rings, providing a seamless and responsive client experience. Additionally, Mark keeps our social media channels updated with relevant information and technological developments for SMEs, charities, and learning centers in the North West, ensuring our online presence is informative and engaging. Mark loves horse racing almost as much as he loves travelling. If he's not answering your call within three rings, he's probably daydreaming about his next travel adventure.

Josh is our top-tier expert at MICT, specializing in server management and cybersecurity. His role involves configuring and maintaining servers, ensuring robust and secure IT infrastructure, and protecting our clients from cyber threats. With unparalleled expertise and a dedication to excellence, Josh’s skills ensure that our clients' systems are not only reliable but also safeguarded against potential risks. His comprehensive knowledge and proactive approach make him an invaluable asset to our team and a trusted advisor to our clients.

Outside of work Josh enjoys travelling to new places, landscape photography, and the often heartbreaking experience of watching his beloved Rugby League team Warrington Wolves.

With 25 years of experience, Mark B is MICT’s VOIP and Microsoft 365/Cloud Migration Specialist. He focuses on seamless communication solutions and efficient cloud transitions for our clients. Mark is not only a 365 and server specialist but also a Microsoft trainer, leveraging his deep understanding of voice over IP technology and cloud solutions to help businesses transition smoothly to modern communication systems. His innovative approach and meticulous planning ensure that our clients experience minimal disruption and maximum efficiency during their migration processes. Outside of work, Mark’s best friend is his Chihuahua, Bloo. He’s amazing and Mark’s only obsession next to gaming and IT.

Luke is MICT’s go-to expert for hardware and infrastructure solutions. With extensive experience in hardware installation and infrastructure management, Luke ensures that our clients have a solid and scalable IT foundation. His hands-on approach and strategic mindset help build and maintain efficient IT environments that support our clients’ technological needs. When he’s not building networks, he’s often found with a camera in hand, capturing the world through his lens. Slightly obsessed with cabling, he finds joy in both a perfect cable rack and a beautiful sunset.

Originally from Portugal, Sofia is deeply passionate about supporting her clients. As MICT’s Office 365 Specialist, she helps businesses streamline their operations and achieve maximum productivity. She also provides general IT support, addressing a wide range of technical issues to ensure smooth IT operations.

In her spare time, Sofia loves to hit the trails, go to the beach, and camp, feeling connected to nature and clearing her mind. She enjoys water sports like surfing and kayaking. When not outdoors, Sofia can be found tinkering with DIY projects and spending time with her rescue dog, Maggie, and her cats, who bring her endless love and companionship. Sometimes Maggie comes to work with her, so feel free to pop in if you'd like to meet her.

Carlo is MICT’s expert in WiFi solutions and general IT support. His role involves designing and implementing reliable WiFi networks that meet the connectivity needs of our clients. Carlo’s expertise also extends to general IT support, where he addresses technical issues and provides solutions that enhance the efficiency of our clients’ IT systems. At home, Carlo is a man of diverse interests. He loves PC gaming, practicing Muay Thai, playing the bagpipes, and diving into epic campaigns of Dungeons & Dragons. Carlo also enjoys BBQing with friends, a passion likely influenced by his South African roots where they love a good braai.

Vasile is a dedicated General IT Support Specialist at MICT. His role encompasses a broad range of IT support tasks, from troubleshooting technical problems to improving system performance. Vasile’s commitment to delivering excellent customer service and effective IT solutions ensures that our clients receive the support they need for their day-to-day operations.
