About MICT

Tim Bold is the Managing Director of MICT, with over 35 years in IT (from as far back as Windows v1!). Tim started MICT as he was driven to provide an alternative to standard IT companies. MICT is, and always will be, technically led rather than sales led and. As such MICT built a dynamic team, all experts in their field.

Tim’s goal is to ensure companies gain the best from their IT systems: translating tech-jargon into plain English, making sure investments are fit for purpose, financial outlays are cost effective and the team are striving to meet client expectations.

Amanda Martins is the Business Manager who works with clients in the North West to procure software and hardware solutions and heads the Finance department.

Amanda has been with MICT Ltd since its inception and believes all MICT's clients, big or small, charity or corporate deserve the very best customer service and quality of support possible.

Ryan has over 15 years’ experience in the technology industry, and brings an incalculable depth of knowledge and expertise to our team.

Ryan is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of our technology projects. Ryan is always striving to improve processes and find innovative solutions to complex problems, ensuring that our technology projects are always cutting-edge.

With over 10 years experience in IT support, Ryan has become a seasoned tech expert. As an IT Support Manager, he understands the importance of clear and effective communication. Ryan excels at breaking down complex technical jargon into easy-to-understand terms. Whilst his expertise may lie in technology, Ryan has never forgot that he is ultimately here to support people. His approachable and personable nature allows him to build strong relationships with the team and clients alike, and ensures that everyone feels comfortable approaching him with any IT-related concerns.

Ethan is an experienced Desktop Engineer, with wealth of knowledge and expertise in managing and maintaining desktop computer systems across a variety of industries, he has a strong background in hardware and software troubleshooting, and is able to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure uninterrupted workflow for end-users. Ethan is a truly dedicated professional; committed to providing exceptional service and support, to users at all levels, and is always seeking new ways to improve system performance and efficiency.

Peter is a hardware engineer with over 9 years of experience in engineering. His expertise lies in both mechanical and software engineering. Peter's main role is to attend client sites to install, maintain, and repair IT hardware and software products. He builds and configures new hardware in the workshop prior to onsite installation.

Mark is the newest member of the team, he is highly customer-focused and your first point of contact when telephoning MICT, answering and directing your call to the Technical or Administration department, aiming to do so within three rings.
Mark also looks after MICT’s social media platforms, keeping up to date with relevant information and developments in technology, for SME’s, Charities and Learning centres in the North West.
